All I want for Xmas

Our troops are battered...confidence is low. So the only thing that will change our position is.....Change

How this manifests itself isn't clear but if I had a Xmas wish it would be.

Fred sold for £5m+ although current form may mean £2M

3 new players

2 older proven experienced players ( aka 2 wise men)..Sherringham and Viduka for example....just using these guys as a point of reference so don't slag me off.

1 new quality striker from either premiership acadamy or League 1 or 2 top striker

And finally for our dear Tilly to become the 3rd wise man and learn from managers who constantly achieve...our squad doesn't have depth of quality.....after marathon midweek games our boys were knackered....and the quality gap/energy killed us off.

We can still do it lads but it's sh*t or bust from January onwards

Have you got any idea how much Sherringham and Viduka for example earn? Maybe one player ending his days (as per Goater) but not two. Also we haven't got the best out of the loan market so far.

However the real challenge is how to attract players (loan or permanent) to a side adrift at the bottom. The only option is to plan for next season with permanent signings and save some cash to dip into the loan market in the event that things turn for the better and we have something to go for.
