BBC Essex seems to have massively downgraded this season - can only think it is budget cuts.

We used to have the very professional Glenn Speller as sports editor, Nick Alliker as commentator and either Clarky or Pennyfather as the pundit - both with bags of experience as players and coaches in the men’s professional game.

Now it’s Victoria “thizzzevening” Polley, mix and match commentators each game and tonight April as summariser - I know she loves the club and the game and has some coaching experience but she can’t come close to either of the normal summarisers. Very sad state of affairs.
