Sturrock brought Akinfenwa here on trial a couple of years ago so there was definitely some interest in him for a while.

We really don't need another striker though.

Am I missing something but if Benson is so keen to come here why did he pick Swindon over us before when we were showing interest.?... or have I got the wrong guy altogether.
