Been charged for using Insulting/Abusive Words to ref of Watford/Reading game!

Are they surprised?

Refs/Lino's demand respect these days. Is it any wonder they don't get it when they make decisions like that for Reading's phantom goal?


I have a certain amount of sympathy for the officials and i'm as guilty as the next of venting my anger at the officials but that decision was rediculous and the decision to charge AB is even more ludicrous. Has the Ref/Lino actually come clean and admitted they f***ed up yet?

If they used even the tiniest bit of common sense, the FA would realise keeping quiet would be better ad the whole thing will go away a lot sooner. All they have done now is to bring it back to everyones attention.

Thats shocking, similiar to the charge being brought to Moyes of Everton.

Both decisions where wrong, and charging Boothroyd and Moyes for officials mistakes is embarrasing. I see the ref involved in the ghost goal has been "punished" by him being the forth official for a Prem game this weekend (Possibly Boro Vs Villa I believe). Now I know it was more the lino that got the decision wrong, but that is laughable.

They should certainly be charged for bringing the game into disrepute IMO
