With an overall average score of 7.35, Southend triumphed by 2 goals to 1 over the only team to previously hold a 100% start to the season (An overall score which was 0.12 greater than the Bradford game).

An outstanding performance from Josh Simpson, including a cracking strike from outside the area secures him his first Top Player gong! His best performance of the season to date also moved him up 1 place to 2nd in the overall leaderboards, behind Bilel Mohsni who made his 4th consecutive score above 7.

The much debated Blair Sturrock took the Most Improved award after, finally enough, a much improved performance...His holding up play and intelligence on the ball against the best defence in the league, created space for the midfielders and wingers to move in to.

Finally, The Blue Voice scored a whopping 8.06, their best of the season, prompting Torquay manager, Paul Buckle, to heap praise on the Southend fans for their part in the victory.

See below for the full index.

Who did you expect to be top of the Season Ratings at this stage?

The Bristol City game holds the highest overall average score so far this season, but was it a better performance than vs Torquay?

Gotta love the Pringello index - been waiting for this since Saturday!

Glad to see Simpson with the MotM award and Blair with the "Most improved" - both well deserved.

Keep up the good work Jon.

Viva la Pringello!

Stellar work. I expect this to be a full on Opta Index by the end of the season.....

Cracking addition to the site, and I hope people give this a thought when it comes round to nominating for the fans player of the year...
