Advice needed

On my Super List so far (from Ladbrokes), i've correctly predicted Chelsea, West Ham, THS, Everton and Villa would all win. The 3 games left are Norwich -vs- Arsenal (away banker - touch wood) and then tomorrow comes the decision.

I've gone for Celtic at home (against Rangers) and Liverpool away (at Bolton). I think the odds were 75-1 with my whole pound stake. Im obviously going to wait for after the Arsenal game but should i just hold out and go for it. Or shall i hedge my bets and make the winning margin smaller. If so, whats the best way to go about it?!

Cant see too many options for hedging as you would need to cover all the possible permatations from two games to be sure of a return.

I uses to do a similar bet and it hardly ever comes off, much better to just pick 3 games a week and raise the stake to about 6.00 returns are smaller but you get them more often!

Today won with Everton, spurs & Col U (spit!). This returned £40.09 for a £6 stake.

Monday going for Ipswich, Peterborough & Southend.

I win roughly every other week with 3 selections, picking any more than 3 is doomed to failure long term imho

Good luck with your games... hope someone else with more knowlege than me can advise how you might be able to hedge effectively!

I do it as it makes the other games interesting (especially when a. Southend are away - and im not there b. Aren't playing at all)

ph437 - You are a novice like me by the sounds of it. Going for Southend on Monday? Jeez. Thats faith. I never put money on us winning, but the 3 selections for more money sounds a much better idea. Shame James the bookie ain't around, seeing as he's out in Greece, i think.

Anyone with half a clue or am i gunna have to risk it ... !?
