Administration - Yes or No?

Will we go into Administration?

There's a lot of random jibber jabber going on here, and it's becoming very difficult to work out what is fact and what is rumour etc etc etc

So it's about time we had a poll to see what people actually think. Place your bets now.

Personally I'm optimistic. RM hasn't worked as hard on things like the new stadium to let it all slip away for £1, or to go into administration so whilst there's understandably a lot of worried fans out there I believe we will pull through.

Head says -10 points by lunchtime, heart says he'll pull the rabbit out of the hat or make that £600k out of his back pocket.

Jury's still out and I have no clue which way this'll go.

With you on this - I think deadlines have been enforced far more stringently than he anticipated, but am confident that he simply can't afford to let it all go t*** up.

I've given up hope. Logic says that you wouldn't have enough of a vindictive streak to blow out the chance to either go and not ruin the club, I'm sure that a group of men turning up at court with their solicitors saying "here's the cash we can provide no worries, let's just settle" and walking away with the club on a sound footing and able to get the players back in on loan to get through to the window rather than going "we're screwed so let's screw them". We've done our bit, we've turned up, we've bought the shirts, christ, we've even eaten the food, some of you guys have even bought shares, WHAT MORE COULD WE HAVE DONE?

I was pretty optimistic on Friday night, but now it's got so close I'm all but accepting we'll stumble through the rest of the season watching our kids play and our first team players leave. All this ending with us being back in the days of Oxford, Macclesfield and Lincoln. Yikes. Well it's been fun I suppose.

I would love to think so and fingers crossed you are correct, but I think there is more chance of Daisy scoring a hat-trick than this one pulling through.

Dont forget Accrington(who i believe escaped administration for the time being,) and Morecombe (another day at the seaside, albeit a long way) Happy days!

Personally I believe that Ron feels that the best thing is to put the club in Administration ( but using the HMRC as fall guys rather than go voluntarily) Take the 10 point hit but cut the losses of the club at a stroke, then rebuild from a much lower debt platform.
I expect the club to go into administration, followed within a few weeks an offer to be made to the Administrators (once they have done RM's dirty work and culled the office staff and more) for , say 30%, lead by RM plus another backer.

Hopefully there will be cash injection at the end of it all which will enable the 10 points to be "bought back" by the playing staff over the 2nd half of the season.

Whilst I still don't blame the bloke for the financial situation the club was in up to 6 months ago, I do believe that the Administration / buy back model , so expertly devised (but poorly executed) by Bates at Leeds has been on Rons mind for several months now and the HMRC have basically given him someone to use as a bad guy to deflect the criticism from him and the rather cynical use of the FL's administration processes in order to buy off the debts for 10 points

Good points there Gary, but I see a flaw in hoping there may be a cash injection to stabalise us in January. At this time the administrators can't cut playing staff, but we should all remember what administrators did at Stockport by making Jim Gannon surplus to requirements. I'm not saying this would be the case with Tilly, but I'd wager that he is the highest earner outside of playing staff, and could well be an easy target for the administrators.

I've lost all my hope and respect for Ron Martin, and the only way he can regain it is if he pulls something out of the hat, and saves us from going into administration - otherwise, (and I don't usually turn against the chairman/club officials) he has lost all my respect for him fully.

A big chance for our smiling kit-man if Tilly goes.

Just looked at the Companies Court Winding Up List at Court 54 tomorrow
and we are not listed to appear from when court starts 1030 hrs-1130hrs

Accrington Stanley are appearing from 1030 hrs onwards as like us there
case was adjourned till tomorrow ( Case No 13415)

But could not find us and this these list are prepared well in advance

Rons keeping rather quiet.

so much for keeping his fans well informed!.
I think he doesnt know what to do, but im hoping he picks what all us fans are wishing for!

No we're not there. Not sure what that means because it's generally fixed by 4:30pm the previous day (ie. today) I think. I am now very confused...

I reckon RM will either turn up with a novelty sized cheque and a couple of Bluebelles, or a load of 1ps, 2ps and 5ps.
