Great news! The bloke is a hero and his passion for the club is second to none.

Good news. I think we need to manage him a bit better next season than we did this season (for example playing him for all those games around the Christmas period just seemed crazy to me).

Well worth the extension ...well done Adam.......,since coming back has really added the experience at the back and helped the younger players come through.Someone who when he kisses the badge means it, and has really helped the team reconnect with the fans .

He might have lost a yard of pace, but he's gained two yards of experience of reading the game.

I'd rather have AB diving in front of and blocking every attempt on goal, wearing his blue heart on his sleeve, than half of the Premiersh*te defenders turning their backs on a shot and jumping out of the way!

You've only got to nip on the Barnsley Forum, to see what they thought of his performance on Saturday.

Adam is still a very good player at this level, he plays his socks off for this club. Good to have him aboard for next season. Happy days !!

Today V the Gills; an ex club of his, who discarded him as "over the hill" we might see a BIG BIG performance from him; (and a short Westy super sub cameo).
I pray it isn't a "sand pit" moment repeat but a M'Wall away show.

he read the game really well when he decided to go AWOL against chesterfield.

... He was upfield because it was the last minute or so and we were pushing for a winner and they were camped deep in their own half.

We were all cheering him on when he popped up at Millwall to head our second and scored the first goal at home to Peterborough. Not to mention the second against Col Ewe.

Maybe he wouldn't have been upfield had we not missed a virtual open goal from 5 yards or been able to convert the chances we had in the second half.

This is excellent news. No more big-hearted player than Adam.

His 37-year old legs (come November) will probably tell him that next season is his last so if we don't squeeze into the play-offs this year then he can go out on a high with our automatic promotion in May 2017.
