:hello:Hi all  hope all are well and looking forward to the season now its on the way, just thought i'd up date you on the pitch and conditions, been over tonight and the pitch is in excelent condition new drains and reseeded over the summer and no sign of any puddles:winking: and we've had 2 days of heavy rain.how meany will you bring up this time around  Have a safe journey up and hope its a cracking game for all,why not join in on our forum http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f93/

Not sure how many we will take on Sat, quite a few of us were heading up for the original match but only about 180 made the Tuesday night match. So it could be just over 200 but as we have Crawley away on Tuesday most people will decide to go there rather than Accrington.

my guess would be about 250....two coaches plus around 100 on train/car and the lancashire and yorkshire based shrimpers. However, it is still holiday season so who knows?, although I believe the coaches are pretty busy. Looking forward to a good game, having trekked all the way up last season only the last minute postponement! Dont fancy another trip to Ewood Park! LOL

Think the pub is called the Crown but they also let away fans in to the supporters club. Last season when the game got cancelled due to the waterlogged pitch the rain was even making its way through the ceiling tiles of the supporters club!

Are you Blackburn Barry, who hangs around the supporters bar :)

I'll be doing a weekend in Clitheroe again (to the disgust of my missus), and really need the match to take place this time because that gives me a couple of sober hours in the middle of the day. It did get quite messy in February!

Just got back! Thanks and best wishes to you for 43 of the remaining 44 league games! Would also like to say a big thank you to the Accy fan who in the car park after the game gave me his programme as a souvenir. Lovely bloke, no sour grapes. I'm sorry I didn't get his name.
