Accession Day - 60 years ago today

I know there are a fair number with Republican tendencies on here, but I hope they will forgive those of us who support the Monarchy in celebrating that fact that it's 60 years today since HRH the Princess Elizabeth became Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. May her reign continue for many years yet to come.

on Easter Day. This year its May 17th.
