i unfortuantly miss most tuesday night games due to work, but plan to be ill for the home leg,
i hope they don't know your a Shrimper fan... they may just guess why your sick !!!
Actually i dont think we will have any trouble getting 2000 there. Ive always been to Orient and we always take a massive following. This is such an important game with the prize of wembley, i urge everyone to go and make it our ground. Orient fans are always so quiet with their one chant, lets show the TV world waht our support is like....all remember Doncaster away!!!! The fact the game is on sky should deter anyone, its local, its affordable and the boys need us.
Im sure we will still take a lot even if its on TV.
I will be a TV armchair fan for the away game, no way I can get there on a Tuesday. Fingers crossed we can come away with a draw at least to keep the tie alive for the home leg.
I was there, from memory they ended opening the terracing behind one of the goals. To be fair, most of our games since have been all ticket and i havnt missed one since. Never had any other problems getting in or with congestion at turnstiles etc. Sorry to hear about your wife, i hope she is better soon.Possibly same here. Firstly I remember many years ago (it may have been the game when Alan Little was in charge) turning up at Orient about an hour before kick off to find only two turnstiles open. I warned them they may want to open a whole load more as I reckoned we would fill the entire section, and people won't be able to get in. (This was a pay on the day type match.) They laughed at me. I was proved right; loads of people, including my dad, didn't get to his seat until about half way through the first half. I vowed never to go back again. Up until now I have kept to it.
Secondly, my wife is going into hospital for a pretty major operation and will only be 2 weeks post op. I might have to stay at home to look after the kids as she probably won't be able to get out of bed, let alone deal with them.
simon cowell might,as long as he could have a pint in the cliff with the orient lads before the gameI'll be at the away game but they appear to have moved the 2nd leg from w/c 25th to w/c 18th so it means I will miss it because I'll be in Barbados during that week. I wonder if anyone wants to swap a sun drenched Barbados beach for a cold but happy packed Roots Hall?
