I believe I'm right in saying that this was the private party at which the late,great, Professor Longhair played on the Q/M.(There's a live recording of the event,which I'll have to dig out).
I missed seeing Elvis play in Vegas,a few years before this, by a couple of weeks,which is nothing compared to the pain of never having seen The King of New Orleans Gumbo play live).
