A rising gem!

That is Julian Oki... been on southends books a few years now and just started to creep onto the OS with his appearances in the youth team.

Know him since young, always remember him playing for Ashingdon as a kid and was always banging in goals at that age, he then got scouted for southend and i believe he will become a gem. This all depends on whether or not he can match the strength of men but he's still young and should grow or atleast become more stronger.

His pace is like lightning and also has some nippy feet! If we can manage to keep hold of him then i believe him to be another Moose, coming through the ranks.

Good luck to him though, nice kid as ive been with him through my school life.

Also he's not with us but look out for a lad named Billy Knot in the future... last i heard he was travelling with England schoolboys and was playing for Chelski but not 100% certain, pure quality, just a name to look for in the future.

another that will go to a higher league, or be axed next year.
