3 Doncaster,46,26,83
4 Nottingham Forest,46,32,82
5 Leeds,46,34,77
6 Wallsall,46,17,75
7 Southend,46,15,75

Im not getting that negative after a home draw i fink we will make the play offs but this isnt a ridiculous set of results now is it.

I never said that Southend would win 3-0 (other than on my betting slip and work prediction league, obviously).

I know the point that you're making but I really don't think it's anything to lose even the slightest bit of form over. I don't think Walsall have won five in a row all season and they certainly aren't going to do it now that half their side are straight out of the youth team.

Walsall won't win at Huddersfield. The same as Orient won't beat Doncaster in the set of possible scores that I posted on Tuesday.

Walsall ' s game in hand v Brizzle Rovers on Tuesday night will be no walkover - BR still aren't completely safe themselves and will want a point . But if Walsall get all 3 , then I could start feeling a tad nervous , as I could see us losing to a dodgy pen / sending off decision at Carlisle followed by one of our inept / didn't turn up displays at Tranmere. And if Walsall then got 4 more points from their games against Bournemouth and Huddersfield , then we would need to beat Port Vale on the last day of the season to be sure of a play off place - a draw would leave us and Walsall ( if they won their final match ) equal on 73 points and by then their GD would probably be better than ours .

C'mon Rovers , spare us a nervous run -in , please !!

Can't see Walsall doing as well as all that. Don't think Bournemouth or Huddersfield will be that simple, Bournemouth are on a great run of form and are fighting for their lives. I'm definitely hopeful that we'll get at least a draw at one of the two away games which puts us a point above them in your scenario anyway.

As an aside, I think Millwall will be very fired up for Weeds as well, and are unlikely to allow them the win there. If their fans got fired up (eventually) for us, can you imagine what they'll be like for them?

I don't see Walsall winning all 4 remaining games either, they have to win them, therefore the pressure is more on them. Bristol Rovers also nicked a point at Forest the other night so won't roll over, and as pointed out Bournemouth have won 4 on the spin, and could still stay up.

Forgetting Walsall, are Leeds really going to win 3 away matches on the spin?

Guess we'll know to some extent by Tuesday
