Been a southend fan all my life (now 22). Only problem is now that i am a student up in Birmingham. Not been a season ticket holder for the last two seasons (it pains me!!). I have to commute down for games which at times (we all know British rail) can be a right pain. I would see southend every day of the week home and away if i could. So . . . what im wondering is . . . does anyone else commute down from Brum, or drive down perhaps?? If so reply to this thread!!

i'm at uni in bath and find it's cheaper to get a train. i'm guessing you have a 16-25 railcard which knocks a third off. and if you no which games you are goin to, you can book for a lot cheaper in advance.

you seem to be in a good position for away games up north though!
