...for all of us that had the opportunity to put dosh in the Rotherham buckets last night.
I think it was a nice touch that would have gone down very well with their lot, given the JCR saga that has been going on.
If they really have got to raise a million in the next 6 weeks then I hope they do it. Nobody truly wants to see a club actually go out of business. Possibly not even Col U.

We've beaten Rotherham twice, so we have gained 6 points...
If Rotherham do not raise there £1m in the 6 weeks given, They will go straight into Liquidation as they have no fixed assets to there name, and will cease to exist as both a business and a football club.
This means they will cease to exist from the League, and to cope with this that means all game Rotherham have competed in become null and void, so all teams who have gained points from Rotherham will lose them.

Although plenty of ppl around me thought he was faking it with 5 minutes to go, but why would he,they were losing. Fact was it was a stupid tackle by Guttridge who already had a yellow. The guy was facing his own goal going nowhere and Gutts clattered him from behind. Ref could easily have given a second yellow.
I am slightly concerned that stupid bookings might hit us badly in the run in, considering the fairly small squad we have.

We could see that clearly on the other side of the pitch from the West. We'd all been talking about taking him off 10 minutes before that for his own good.

So what about all the points Rotherham have won, do the teams they beat get all the points, in the rules if they haven't completed 75% of there fixtures then the points thing happeneds, but surely in 6 weeks, it be pretty close to the 75% mark

We manage on a smaller budget, spend within our means.
We could spend money we haven't got on players that would get certain promotion and build a new stand and go bust.
But have have not & won't.

Come off it, Col U, you were in the red this year to the tune of £300K and your directors once again had to dip into their pockets to make up the difference. I know the arguement that you just need to get into that shiny new stadium and you will be able to balance the books, but the fact of the matter is that at the moment you can't! Even with your cup run this year, I am willing to wager that you will still be in the red.

Which makes your comments about Rotherham sound hollow, insincere, and frankly hipocrytical. And yes, if Col Ewe were as close to going out of business as Rotherham, I would donate to their fighting fund too.

As a matter of interest, when was the last time that Col******r turned a profit?
