...For God's sake shoot. Robinson really isn't that great a keeper and most of our recent goals have been from distance. Every time we're within 25 yards of goal, have a crack and we might have a chance.

Given that Maher Dradders and JCR CR have all scored from outsie the box recently its a fair chance that a few more strikes are lined up for Robbo.....Lets hope so anyway....

ever since tilly changed the warm up to shooting pratice we have been much for confident from shooting outside the box hence why we havew been scoring more goals from distance! i to think that if we try and shoot wenever possible against robinson we will get some joy!

another rocket from maher would be nice against his old club!

Actually, I disagree with this. I have my reservations about Robinson too but his shot-stopping is excellent. His weakness, in my opinion, is similar to Darryl's - i.e. being prone to hesitation/indecision in around the six-yard box - so our best bet is to get plenty of crosses whipped into that corridor of uncertainty between the six-yard box and the penalty spot. Trouble is, we're not that strong in that area - even when a good cross comes in our forwards appear shy of attacking that area.

That's not to say we shouldn't have a crack at goal from distance if the opportunity arises. But I think Robinson is a very agile keeper with excellent reflexes, which is why he is England's first choice, albeit by default.

His shot stopping and reflexes are very good and positionally I'd say he's one of the best around. From having seen an unhealthy amount of Spurs games this season though its becoming increasingly apparent that he is seriously vunerable from distance. He just doesn't seem to be able to read any sort of movement in the air. A lot of Spurs fans I know are having serious second-thoughts about him as a goalkeeper.
