Great advice, it's a shame a certain frenchman was given chance after chance and then threw it all back in the gaffers face this summer.

On the subject of Paul Sturrock and his management, I was looking earlier and he is actually the 22nd longest serving manager out of the current 92 league clubs despite only being in charge 2 years and 115 days. Goes to show how little time managers are afforded nowadays.

Luggy always said he had a five year plan. I have often thought that clubs are too eager to oust the manager when the club hits a sticky patch...you can't build a successful team overnight, particularly when operating on a shoestring; it's either buy success (not an option open to many clubs) or develop a young side. I just hope we give Luggy a fair crack of the whip.
