A different level of concern ......

Rayleigh boy

Director⭐
A property developer in the time of credit crunch -

stadium plans that include loads of now possibley unsaleable flats -

business plans being rescaled -

its a difficult time to trust anyone -

I personally do not know enough about business and the detailed sitiuation but the concern has got to be realistic -

perhaps some other zoners can re-assure me ....

(and via the website is a ****e way to do business/negotiate -)

Don't think the flats will be unsaleable, they're still sticking up flats wherever there's open ground across the borough and beyond and demand is still high.

Wasn't this one of the crowing comments on the CUFC boards that we'd struggle now Uncle Ron was faced with the fallout of the credit crunch?

Demand isn't high anymore for buying property(flats), everyone is turning to rented proeprties! So i think Rayleigh Boy has a point!

or perhaps it is all a big con....

get permission for the ground
sell to sainsburys
sell all players
club in freefall
no longer plan to build new ground as fan base drops
club falls into non league and play at Eastwoodbury Lane
Roots hall still developed for nice profit......

we are all doomed........

actually now i come to think about it......:stunned:

And i bet the first person we'll hear is Wiggy saying "I told you so!"

On the other hand, I can walk to Eastwoodbury Lane in about ten minutes so that would be quite nice.

Cool its about 2 minutes from my house. Wouldn't have to worry about parking, and I could pop back home at half time to avoid the pie queues. ;)

and who is it that owns these flats to rent them out?

There will always be money in property, as people will always need somewhere to live. More likely in the current climate the flats will be bought by investors rather than private residents. Having said that, in a couple of years time the property market could well have changed again. Who knows?

I can see this happening.

There's more than meets the eye with uncle Ron.
