Not only Maher, but the whole team have been on their best behaviour so far this season.

According to the The League Paper we have only picked up 1 booking all season. If my memory serves me right that was Gutts at QPR.

Maher was brilliant on Saturday took the ball of the SMBs (as my Toon friend calls them, Sad Mackem B*stards) - all game.

Brilliant preformance by our brilliant captain..

I think thats the thing thats most impressed about Maher, the way hes been able to win the ball so cleanly and play it straight away, and he's also managed to keep the backchat to a minimum too. Hes been absolutely outstanding and if he keeps this form up maybe an Ireland call up wont be a pipe dream.
