2nd SHRIMPERZONE Poker Tournament

The next tournament has been set up and registration is open now. We managed to get 5 for our first attempt and I'm sure those involved will say it was a good laugh. Especially Einstein who won it  

Hopefully we will be able to get a few more involved this time, to play you need to join Ladbrokes and download the software.
In the poker lobby click on the private tables tab and search for the Shrimperzone game.
The password to join the game is SUFC

The cost to enter is $5.50 which is about £3 !
The game is Texas Hold'Em No Limit
1st place wins 50% of the kitty
2nd place wins 30% of the kitty
3rd place wins 20% of the kitty

Please register as soon as you can and hopefully this will encourage others to join in.
Also please leave your Ladbrokes user name on here so we know who we are up against

Spread the word and hopefully we can make this a permanent event

I agree, it was excellent!!

Hopefully a couple more players this week and then can raise the numbers gradually. I won't be here for the following week as on holiday so hopefully I can go away with 'The Zones Poker Champion' tag still attached tomorrow evening!

Poker is fast becoming the biggest participant hobby now(might even be now as read that sometime ago). Hopefully with that in hindsight we can get a band of 10/12 regular players each week!

Here's the result of the 9pm game.

1st Lifeisalaugh winning $15

and last but not least, last weeks champion Einstein

An extradinary hand saw Gav and ph437 go out together with lifeisalaugh taking the chips from them. the flop was 777
Lifeisalaugh played the hand well and after Q on the turn and Q on the river everyone thought they had a full house ?

Lifeisalaugh somehow had a 7 up his sleeve !

Just to add, both Gav and ph437 had Queen's so had the "better" end of the House.

When TCB went all in, i folded my 5's and the flop came 5 J 5 so i was pig sick as lifeisalaugh got his chips and had me covered by 3 to 1 ...

Been there once and it was a great laugh. I eventually got knocked out with about 20 people left from 50 odd when my AK got knocked out but a 10 J offsuit. Flop came 3 5 Q ... checked ... K ... Bet big and called ... River A. Checked into him and he went all in (which put me all in) and i called. Very annoyed after that!!
