27 games to go

glensufc

Youth Team
Ok so it's looking pretty dire, but if we could just turn the corner and get some confidence then maybe, just maybe, we could survive.

11 wins and 5 draws from 27, it's a huge task, some would say impossible, especially as we have only won 2 in 19, but stranger things have happened.

Tuesday's game is massive, its' a must win game even at this stage. We cannot afford to let that gap get any bigger. Perhaps ironically the pressure will start to lessen, now that most people expect us to go down. I also think it's time for us to cut loose a bit and go for it in our away games. We need wins now and we need to start scoring goals away from home. A pitiful total of 3 goals this season is simply not enough. Let's hope for a much more attacking approach in our away games.

C'mon lads we have nothing to lose now.

Just our Championship status.

Sadly, we simply weren't ready to bounce into this league on a back to back promotion.

Hey ho.

11 wins and 5 draws... when you put it like that, I feel as if we're ddown already.

38 points from 81 then.

Besides isn't that the point of the post. Most people are giving up hence we have nothing lose in going for it.

Can't we just be relegated now, the remaining games will only prolonge the agony!

We had a better team with a better team spirit last season.

I didn't say we was going to do. All I was saying is that it can be done and strange things happen in football.

With practically everybody accepting relegation already the pressure is largely off the players. We might as well just throw caution to the wind and have a go.

Good Grief! Today's match result had nothing to do with the team. And as for team spirit, I think Gower proved today, albeit unwisely, that the players (that are still here!) are well up for it. Why are you slagging the players/squad because of Bennet?

Well said, Glen.

We can do it, but we have to believe, and I think any SUFC fan, especially those who went today might find it a little hard tonight, its painful, especially when we deserve something from the game.
