Instead of the doom and gloom of yesterday , how about we use the inspiration of our 2015 record and rate the relevant players involved during that period , from 1st Jan 2015 to 31st December 2015.

A players list from someone far more capable than me would be most welcome , but come on shrimpers let's not reflect on 1 game, let's not wallow in yesterday, let's celebrate what in the whole has been a fantastic and remarkable calendar year !

Daniel Bentley
Ted Smith
John White
Luke O'Neill
Cian Bolger
Adam Thompson
Glen Rea
Adam Barrett
Luke Prosser
Ben Coker
Jerome Binnon-Williams
David Worrall
Kevan Hurst
Ryan Leonard
Michael Timlin
Will Atkinson
Gary Deegan
Anthony Wordsworth
Myles Weston
Stephen McLaughlin
Jack Payne
Barry Corr
Joe Pigott
Jake Cassidy
Shaquille Coulithurst
David Mooney
Noel Hunt
Jason Williams

Have I forgotten anyone?

I'd go:
Daniel Bentley 9 Wouldn't have been promoted without him

Ted Smith 7 Coming on leaps and bounds and good back up for Dan when needed
John White 8 Solid and dependable, was dropping off at one point but signing O'Neill has got him back to his best
Luke O'Neill 6 Phil and him would probably have expected him to be featuring more by now
Cian Bolger 8 The turn of the year was when he really started to improve, and he's one of our best centre backs now and unlucky to be out of the team
Adam Thompson 9 Improved so much over the last year, never would've thought of him as one of the first names on the team sheet a year ago
Glen Rea 7 Good back up, nothing more
Adam Barrett 8 His impact on the back line when he came in was remarkable and you could easily say was a key factor in our promotion
Luke Prosser 6.5 Done okay when needed but constantly in an out of the team
Ben Coker 8.5 One of the best players in the squad without a doubt and proved himself in League 1
Jerome Binnon-Williams 7 Good back up for Coker and also did well in the middle for a spell, good luck to him.
David Worrall 8 Lacks consistency but one of our most dangerous players on his day
Kevan Hurst 6 Still not back to his best, though this season seems to be an improvement
Ryan Leonard 8 First name on the team sheet and rarely has a bad game, strong in the midfield and a key player
Michael Timlin 8.5 Instrumental in our promotion efforts and I still feel we miss him when he doesn't play now
Will Atkinson 6.5 Hard to think of anything remarkable that he's done but adds good depth and is consistent and reliable
Gary Deegan 7.5 Added something different to the midfield and shown he's good enough for League 1 too
Anthony Wordsworth 6 Never really had a chance to shine and then picked up a nasty injury, hopefully a better 2016
Myles Weston 7.5 Vital threat off the bench and had a great run in the side this season
Stephen McLaughlin 7 Unfortunate with injuries this season but adds quality to the squad and scored that goal to give us the lead in extra time of the play-offs
Jack Payne 9 What a player he is becoming, our most creative and usually most dangerous attacking threat
Barry Corr 8.5 If only he had stayed! Good number of goals from him and our main striker for the first half of the year
Joe Pigott 7.5 Purple patches of great form and long goal droughts where he can't get in the team and looks disinterested, but that goal is worthy of a 10 alone.
Jake Cassidy 5.5 Has he scored yet? He allowed us to play 2 up front and he had good movement but not a lot else.
Shaquille Coulithurst 6 His shot to goal ratio was appalling but the only out and out striker with any pace that we've had.
David Mooney 6.5 Seems to be improving, needs more goals from open play but we don't play to his strengths at all.
Noel Hunt 8 His performances would easily get him a 9 but his injuries have kept him out for far too long to warrant that score.
Jason Williams 5.5 Couple of meaningless sub appearances with no impact.

I would agree with your ratings with the following exceptions: -

Prosser 7: he and Tommo formed a great partnership at the beginning of the year
Binbag Williams 5: poor defending, even poorer attacking and crossing
Shaq 5: had pace but no finish
