Since Freddy's departure last year we've never looked like having one player who can easily score 20 + goals a season.

I personally believe that with a full season Barnard is capable of getting 20+ goals easily if he can stay fit

We all know that Tilly is often rumoured to be interested in a striker.
With Furlong now on board is that it with the strikers and he'll be looking at strengthening elsewhere ?

Well with Foran, MacDonald, Hooper and Harrold all on the list, hopefully all leaving that leaves us with Barnard, Furlong, Walker and Revell.

I'd like to see one more player brought it especially as Barnard has picked up a few injuries since his been here and Furlong wont have the legs for saturday, tuesday, saturday.

I'd still like us to go for Byfield. A player he have been in for before.

Agreed. Barnie if he stays fit can certainly grab twenty plus this season.

What's the obsession with 20-goals-a-season strikers? I don't think Doncaster's top scorer made double figures last season and it didn't do them any harm.

As long as the team scores plenty of goals it doesn't matter who gets them.

That is quite a good point, remember last season we had 30 odd goals from our midfield. Teams can be come too reliant on one player to get goals.

I agree! hooper, harrold, foran, macdonald vs barnad walker furlong and revell - much better
