2 corners = 2 goals conceaded , when will we learn

Another 2 basic goals conceaded last night , one a simple corner floated over , with no great pass or whip and a comfortable header home , second a short corner same ish ball in and again a comfortable finish , we just don't seem to learn or know hoe to defend when a ball comes into our box .

It is getting tedious now the amount of schoolboy goals we concead and yet Tillys main worry is getting in loanee youngsters !!

EXPERIENCE PLEASE IS A MUST !!!!

Totally agree , I thought this problem had been recognised by T+B with the search and signing of a tall keeper to dominate the box.However given the steady stream of goals conceded from set piece crosses this season - obviously not . An experienced , no-nonsense stopper of a centre half is whats required. ( Along with a creative midfield player, a winger with genuine pace, and a striker who can play more than 20 games a season)

That is very true. The thing that worries me at the moment is the spine of our team, it just looks a little weak when you compare it to the sides we have put out over the last couple of seasons.

Tilson did say this in the post-match interview:

"We need to bring in more experience. We are a young side and we need people here with a bit of know-how.

Lets all hope that he can deliver on it, or we may well be up that wekk known creek.....

Don't know what the stats say, but I don't think we've looked quite as bad at set pieces this season. Wasn't there last night though. I think one of our problems this season defending them has been a lack of continuity in the side. With a settled side everyone knows their roles at set pieces. Still think we could do with a big defender who can organise, but then even Chelsea having John Terry didn't do them much good.
