No builders on site yet Mr Martin as promised by yourself that builders would be on site from 1st Oct?

I know we are top but dont think we have forgotten your lies

It's a bloody weekend!!! Even the builders at Sadlers haven't worked this weekend!!!

Nothing can happen until the council ratify the extension of the building time and that won't happen until I think it is the 10th of this month.Only then, if the extension is granted will Sainsburys finally sign up to everything...Fingers crossed and I will believe it when I see it.

When did Ron Martin promise it would be the 1st of October? Tara said work would begin in October, Ron hasnt said anything to anyone for a long time.

I know they said they expected to be onsite but theres no guarantees as we know there are outstanding issues and I wouldnt be shocked to see nothing happen anytime soon, guess we all just expect nothing to happen as its been so long now....

There's more chance of Cole Ewe filling the Airfix Stadium than us starting FF this October. Lets just enjoy looking at the league table shall we?

I believe it is Weds 12th October when the Development Control Committee meet again mate. Unless they have a specially arranged one before then. The council will rubber stamp the extension and slight changes, thats a given. It's then all down to Sainsbury's signing the contract to provide the funds. Which should in theory happen almost immediately after this date. Once that is sorted, the contractor will be appointed (if they haven't already) and with any luck we should be on-site within a couple of weeks...

I think October is optimistic. I would say some time in November, worst case December at the latest.

I think the fact the club are strating to ramp up work in terms of PR and getting the crowds back at Roots Hall is a good sign. Tara did mention that once things are looking a bit better away from the pitch that would be the right time to start promoting the club again... I predict movement late October..
