If we sell it will be a backwards step away from promotion!

If we sell for not a lot of money, and lose Tomlin and Clohessy (our top 3), Christ knows what's going to be what next season

I imagine must be an offer around 50k plus, hopefully we will recruit players soon to shoe Cresswell we are looking to compete next season

Selling Cresswell to a league rival smacks of a lack of ambition really.Maybe he wants a move more towards his northern roots but after how well he did last season he would be a big loss and hard to replace.

But if a player is homesick and doesn't want to be here, you don't force him. It has nothing to do with ambition.

Can we afford to turn bids down?

We're not just going to accept any old offer for our players just because of the winding up order. Every player will have a price and if they don't meet it then it will be rejected. It's not fire sale time just yet.

Just as long as it doesnot turn out to be another Bilel saga, and then people were posting it wasnot enough and then turned when he left for nothing

UTS

Cresswell is quality & if we are to sell him i'm fairly sure it will be to League 1 or maybe even a Championship team . Chesterfield would be a backward step for him and it wouldnt surprise me if someone like Sheff Utd will prize him away from us. I wonder if the carrot of Captaincy has been dangled by Mr. Brown ?

People getting excited again, like they did over Barrett, yeah sure good at league 2, maybe do ok at league 1, but no way could Cresswell play in the Championship in anything other than a relegation side

One of the few players Id be gutted to see leaving (in fact the only others would be Clohessy and Corr).
Should build the team round players like him, he has given no hint of being home sick but guess money talks when we are as skint as we are. But if we can afford to turn down £200k from Hammers for Bilel we can turn down a paltry bid for Ryan?
Centre backs who get plenty of goals are few and far between, though guess there will be a 35yr old ex Hull player Brown can recruit in his place!

With an embargo hanging over us, we cannot afford to let any go at the moment.

Homesick?? come on, we live in Britain not Australia, he could drive HOME in about 3 hours, anyway with the amount of northern clubs in league 2 next year, its us supporters who are gonna be home sick, not Cressy!!!
