    Could not believe before the match when the pitch was given a real soaking on what was already a muddy surface. who made this decision the manager or groundstaff? The players could clearly not stand up or run without slipping over.

    According to The Times, there were only 5000 Shrimpers at the Play-Offs. I can understand that. We've been there twice and lost, the second only about 7 weeks before. If we hadn't been before I feel we would probably have taken about 15,000 fans (part-time fairweather supports included)...
