Podcast / Fanzine 5: A collection of SUFC bits.

Next up we have a small collection on offer. The end bid does not include P&P. A Nile Ranger shirt signed by most players, 2 SCP Mugs and an actual signed match ball from the old days....I am trying to recognise a signature to date it, but to little avail so far. Over to you lot to bid on this.

Would Nile ranger have benefited from being managed by Chris Powell

Chris strikes me as the kind of manager that prides himself on knowing his players and offering that arm round the shoulder type of management. Just wondering if he had come in earlier would this have given Nile a lifeline. I guess we will never know but I'm convinced he would have flourished...

    Nile Ranger

    Least prolific strikers

Nile Ranger must have one of the lowest goals per minutes played ratio of any Southend player. How does he rate compared to some of our less illustrious players over the years?

    Ranger curfew

According to the Echo Nile Ranger is currently subject to a curfew where he has to be home by 7pm. He is due to play tomorrow but not against Shrewsbury. Will it now prevent him playing for us long term or are there concessions to the terms of his probation that will allow him to carry out his...

    Squad Numbers

I know you can't really read too much into these, but there are two obvious observations: 1. Jack Bridge has been given a number. 2. Nile Ranger hasn't (unless it's an oversight). Full list: 1. Mark Oxley 2. Stephen Hendrie 3. Ben Coker 4. Anthony Wordsworth 5. Anton Ferdinand 6...
  9. Nile Ranger to be released from prison

Nile Ranger is due to be released on the 24th of July. We may even see him play against Newport in the league cup.
  10. Alton Garden Centre

went there this afternoon. I've always liked it and not just because the owner is a fan and advertises the club. I wandered in to the Barbecue section and there are some serious barbecues called Weber on display. And I mean serious. Top of the range bigger than my entire kitchen. I was watching...

    Nile ranger

I don't get the love affair with ranger. He has far too many off days and we tend to go long when he is in the side. I'm much more a fan of fortune who appears more skilled and offers more to the side and cox. I know ranger signed a long deal but I'd be disappointed to lose fortune tbh.

    Nile Ranger on Instagram

Well worth a follow. His story yesterday was all the player at Cox's house for Cox's birthday celebrations. I think Coker's fit to play Sunday, considering he was on the bouncy castle. And Wordy's son is a big fan of Nile Ranger. Good to see a real team spirit from all the players there.

Question Nile Ranger or Ian Benjamin

One for the slightly older fan this one but i was thinking back to the "Webb's Wonders" era, who would you prefer in your side?
  14. Goal cam v Wimbledon

Fantastic goal from Nile Ranger of course. I also like the thud the ball makes after Simon Cox smashes it into the top of the net. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YQt_OvHDf8

    Ranger's suspension for undisclosed misdemeanor

Article just posted by The Sun has just leaked the reason for Nile Ranger's suspension... very stupid if true! https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/2780917/nile-ranger-drugs-cocaine-mdma-saido-berahino-confesses-suspended/ Saido Berahino recently received an 8 week ban for similar offences...

    Shamir Mullins

Does anybody remember Shamir Mullins playingfor us? I noticed on his twitter he has us down as a former club? He isperforming very well for Chelmsford this season, has 6 goals already and looksa real handful. I went last night and he looked good and had the ball in theback of the net, albeit...
