    I wonder how David Cameron will get out of this one. A very knowledgeable guy on the radio said that DC would have known that part of his inheritance was benefiting from the tax haven, as his father had been using one for decades, and also more alarmingly, that DC is still benefiting from that...

    I'm really hoping someone can explain this to me because I don't understand it. Social care (excluding accommodation costs) will be capped at £75k per person and additional help will be provided for those with assets worth less than £123k. Any additional cost will be picked up by the taxpayer...

    I've been looking at Inheritance Tax on the HMRC website but can't find what I need to know, so now I'm consulting the all-knowing oracle that is SZ. Anybody know what happens if you're inheriting from abroad (my dad lived in germany) - I'm sure the amount will be under the inheritance tax...
