I think you're right, which is a real shame because we are going into the final furlong with something to play for.

Of course, I'd love us to have won all 38 games we've played so far 5-4 but, more than anything, I want my money's worth. I think one of the best parts about being a Shrimper is almost always having something to play for at the business end of the season.

If only Gubbins was as quick to get back as he was to maraud forward. Shouldn’t he be fit? Hasn’t looked it in games at all

Gubbins is not a full back. He has done well filling in for Ralph in the back four. I doubt we have a player fast enough in the team to get back from that attacking position to catch their forward.
