Sorry, extremely busy weekend.

Found out late last night that a top left back was close to signing and an announcement that he was leaving his club, as expected this summer, was imminent.

Very local, has played at Basildon United, Hashtag and Chelmsford too. A young player rising up the leagues at speed - would really excel in the left wingback position in our formation. Would be a great signing if we get this one over the line - seems extremely close.

As much as it pains me to say it, he's earned his chance with you. He's done everything that's been asked of him. He's gone out and got minutes and got fit. Some loanee players don't bother and just sit there with the hump towards the manger that sent them out. He has been the ultimate professional and I wish him well.
