More than 25,000 Shrimpers will be heading to North London to watch us take on Oldham Athletic for a place in Sky Bet EFL League Two next season.

Please take a few moments to familiarise yourself with the information below, notably the public transport options and security requirements upon arrival at the ground.

Access

General admission is from 1pm, while hospitality guests can enter from 12pm. Make sure you arrive at the stadium in good time to assist with security protocols.

Travel Notices

Wembley Park Station is closed on June 1 due to planned engineering works. No trains will be stopping at the station throughout the day. There will be no service on the Metropolitan line between Aldgate and Harrow-on-the-Hill or Watford, and no service on the Jubilee line between Waterloo and Stanmore.

Spectators travelling by rail or London Underground services should use the Bakerloo and Lioness Line services via Wembley Central Station or Chiltern Railways services at Wembley Stadium Station.

Our partners c2c have put together a comprehensive guide with detail on how best to utilise train services to reach Wembley Stadium.

All train services are expected to be extremely busy before and after the match so please allow additional time for your journeys. Post-match, both Wembley Central and Wembley Stadium stations will have managed queuing systems to ensure supporters board trains safely and efficiently – please be patient with station staff.

Post match queues for both stations – particularly Wembley Stadium – are expected to be extensive, so please bear this in mind for your journey home. Please allow for additional wait times and follow steward advice. Please also feel free to explore the local food and beverage offer from the Wembley area post-match.

Ticket Information

Capacity for this game has been limited due to the closure of Wembley Park station. Anyone without a ticket should not travel to the game. All tickets are strictly non-transferable and are not available to distribute to other supporters.

Any supporter who is identified in opposition areas will be ejected from the stadium for breaching the FA’s ground regulations and be subject to each club’s own sanctions process.
colour-logo.svg

Fan Zones

Both teams have dedicated Fan Zones where supporters have the chance to join fellow fans to enjoy a drink – including alcohol – food and a DJ. They are an ideal place to soak up the pre-match party atmosphere.

The Southend Fan Zone is located on the East Concourse (East Village) area of the stadium and will be accessible from 10:00. Alcohol will be served from 11:00 until one hour before kick-off at 14:00, before the Fan Zone closes at 14:30.

Supporters will need to present a valid stadium ticket to enter the fan zones. Capacity is limited and the stadium’s bag policy (see below) also applies.

Stadium Security

The safety and security of fans at Wembley Stadium is of paramount importance, with robust and thorough security measures in place before, during and after each event. The Stadium works closely with the Police, the Safety Advisory Group and the relevant authorities to ensure that the stadium’s security protocols meet the highest standards.
colour-logo.svg

Offensive Chanting

Wembley Stadium has a zero-tolerance policy on any form of anti-social, offensive, and discriminatory conduct, and anyone found guilty of this behaviour will be ejected from the stadium and reported to the authorities. Offensive tragedy-related chanting, gesturing and displaying of abusive messages is unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

People who are found to have committed offences face stadium bans and potential criminal prosecution.
colour-logo.svg

Pyrotechnics

The use of pyrotechnics, flares and smoke devices inside or outside Wembley Stadium is illegal and prohibited. Anyone caught carrying or using pyrotechnical equipment inside the stadium will be immediately ejected from the stadium, banned from future events and dealt with by police. Those caught using pyrotechnic equipment anywhere outside of the stadium will be in breach of the PSPO order and face enforcement action.
colour-logo.svg

Car Parking

Event day parking at Wembley Stadium is limited and must be booked in advance via the Wembley Official Parking website. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Any vehicles which do not pre-book will not be granted access to the stadium car parks. Customers are advised to park via the official car parks only.

Blue badge parking is available for ticketholders with accessibility needs and this can also be booked directly through the Wembley Official Parking website. For any further accessibility requirements, please review Wembley Stadium’s Access Information page, or visit the Guest Support portal.

Park And Walk – Fryent Park

Due to the closure of Wembley Park Station an additional Park and Walk operation has been set up at nearby Fryent Park (NW9 9SG).

Fryent Park has capacity for around 1,000 cars (no coaches or mini buses), will be open from 6am to 8pm, and is approximately a 25-minute-walk away from Wembley Stadium. This car park will be operational on a 24-hour basis and all walk routes will be signposted to and from the stadium.

Parking at Fryent Park is available at £25 per vehicle (cars only). Spaces must be booked in advance from the link here.

An accessible shuttle will operate from this location for those with reduced mobility. Please see below for further information.

Anti-social and discriminatory behaviour

Wembley Stadium operates a zero-tolerance policy on any form of anti-social and discriminatory behaviour. If you witness any anti-social or discriminatory behaviour on the day, text HELP to 66566 or contact your nearest steward.

Just to confirm, the police are extremely strict on anyone using or carrying Pyro's, in the ground and down Olympic/Wembley Way. The police get very heavy handed, pouncing on the person that's set one off, and in the one I saw, wrestling and slamming to the ground. It's a no nonsense approach, so just not worth it. They also search a few lads that they suspect, that have a backpack bag.

A shame really as as the saying goes, no pyro no party.

Didn’t do a very good job with Palace fans the other week did they 😂

Bit concerned about the bag policy...can go within the height and depth, but I don't have a bag less than 9" in width. Bag I wanted to take is 9 and a half inches by 9 inches by 3 inches. I do have a smaller one as back up, but that's still 9" in width.

No they didn't, and it's possibly because of that they got very over the top with the Sunderland and Sheff Utd fans before their match.; That's the game I was down Wembley/Olympic Way for, and saw a Sheff Utd fan being slammed to the ground, because he set off a pyro.

I've got a good Southend mate ( a long term exile in Norfolk).whose going to the game in the Oldam end with his adult Policeman son (complete with truncheon in his pocket apparently). So should be OK. :Smile2:

Must resist the urge, must resist the urge, must resist the urge to make the obvious comments 😁😁😁😁😁😁

I had planned to bring a backpack with some food and a water bottle. I can only assume this policy is to force more people to buy their over priced offerings.

Plastic Tesco bag it is, then.

As I sit here with a cuppa I've just been reflecting (seriously for once) on the bag policy. Not everyone reads the Zone. I dread to think of the amount of people turning up with shoulder bags and big handbags etc, especially those with kids.

Somehow this message needs to be spread far and wide. A great start would be for some message to go out at the coach pick ups and stops so that people at least have the opportunity to do something about it on the coaches.

I can't be much help here but if you're on a coach or train, tube or bus and you see someone getting on with a big bag it costs nothing to tap them on the shoulder and see if they're aware of the bag policy.

I've commented as such on the Club's post they just did, tagging them and the Trust in.

It's not even big bags. That size is basically a bum bag or man bag.

Any kind of drawstring bag is too big. I was planning on taking the below.

20250531_182714.jpg

Have just folded it nice and neatly into a shoe.

20250531_183350.jpg

It's not uncomfortable to walk in so may well smuggle it in that way from my last pub through the turnstiles.

Once inside I'll nip to the loo and complete a switcheroo.

So if you see anyone with a slight limp in his left foot tomorrow it may well be me smuggling in this bag.

Gutted about the water bottle. I'd grabbed a 750ml water bottle in my meal deal but having checked I'm only allowed a 500ml. Not quite sure I can fold the water bottle into my right shoe lol

Let’s hope the stewards inside the ground don’t see it and throw you out.
