Wembley tickets

Can’t help but think that Tottenham's white hart lane would have been a perfect venue, the capacity is spot on and would look super full.
I know Wembley has the prestige and history but I think much better atmosphere would be had at Tottenham. Oh well
As soon as a decision is made for it not to be Wembley, then a Stadium midway between the two clubs should be selected.

I try to go to at least one of the London NFL games per year and always prioritise the games at Spurs because it's just a much much nicer experience than Wembley is.

Can I just check that Tom Lawrence's middle name isn't Frank or Fred or similar, because if it is, we need to make it very clear that when we're slagging off TFL, it's not him we're talking about!

The largest stadium anywhere near midway between Oldham and Southend would be Villa Park but that only has 42,640 capacity at present, so less than is currently being made available at Wembley. You have to go to Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Cardiff or London to find grounds that hold 50,000+.

Thought I’d throw this into the mix. Probably even picked up before. First I’ve seen of it. Second sentence.

‘Promotion to League Two has huge financial benefits for clubs as they are then able to earn basic prize money from the EFL. They also receive a solidarity payment from the Premier League which is worth approximately £1m’

Yep. I believe Tom Lawrence said promotion back to the EFL is worth over £2m overall. That's not even including increased revenue through gate receipts (Which would go through the roof) and everything else either. It's massive for us financially.

Which teams would have a decent away following though? Colchester May muster a 1000. Anyone else?

One organisation that is also responsible is the Met Police. I am sure they have a big say in organised event crowd numbers. It is hard to battle against them Brent Council and NL. If you don't tick their boxes they are intransigent. They all probably take ages to make a decision after going through layers of beurocrasy.
Like the organised chaos at Notting Hill every year the Met allow?

Call me picky (Dave) but I’ve always assumed Tom’s name to be Tom.
