Absolutely. Very poor. Complete lack of discipline. We lost our shape and could easily have been punished!

I sincerely hope he was fined a weeks wages for what only can be described as a complete rush of blood to the head!

I wasn't screaming at him to get back either but well, it was a surprise to see him sprinting the length of the pitch - and a fine finish as well

Only about 6 thousand of us there as well! If we had a play off final in Cardiff today we’d be looking at three times that, shows how our support has grown.

I remember it well, I was screaming at Jupp to take the ball to the corner flag. What do I know, a fantastic finish!

As I sit here, ****ed after our Super Vete 4-0 win tonight meaning I have another medal the 2005 final seems like only yesterday. I haven’t missed a game that we have been promoter in since the 70s. My only sincere hope is that all those still without tickets are resolved by additional allocations.

When we win on Sunday I want all those that want to be there to be there. Keep the faith I am convinced additional allocations will be forthcoming.

Juppy’s goal still one of my all time favourite Southend moments. Met him a few times over the years, most recent was 2019 at the Southend/Colchester charity game and he’s always been so humble about it. I remember him at the Meet the Blues day that summer following that goal and he couldn’t get his head around people wanting his autograph over Freddy’s. Top bloke
