Breaking News Please Check Underground for Wembley Final

Getting back after will be the biggest issue. Fans getting there will arrive over a 2-3 hour period but you will have huge numbers all leaving at a very similar time. Bakerloo line at the best of times is poor yet alone on a Sunday service.

All the Oldham fans will come from Euston. Best bet is Marylebone for safety or a coach.

Everyone will still meet at Wembley Central though, which will be the flash point, the old bill focus on.

That’s why teams get given East and West sides of Wembley, (which include pubs/trains) to avoid direct contact in large numbers.

Marylebone trains go to Wembley Stadium Station.

I share your concerns but the police are going to HAVE to manage it somehow because the chances of TFL changing their engineering works is as close to 0 as to be insignificant

Both WSS and Wembley Central are a stones throw from one another though, and unless the old bill put a cordon around the area and redirect fans getting off at WC, half way around Brent, fans will still mix in large numbers.

You’re probably right, of course.

Exactly that - I know the other teams that are playing at Wembley in the PO have been given sides for this reason
