Seem to recall we were all gutted when he wouldn't stay with us. I'm pretty sure we offered him a deal but he strangely chose Weymouth instead. Was hardly the actions of a player looking to improve their standing in the game. Tyler himself, nor any footballer mind, will openly admit they’ve gone elsewhere for more money. Even if that’s the deciding factor.

We spoke to Tyler, who admitted his desire was to move back to the south coast, and subsequently signed for Weymouth. We didn’t put a formal contract in front of him. Weymouth certainly weren’t throwing around big money.
