Sean Morrison: Sign him up!

With Swindon's money worries we may get him on the cheap. The question is can we afford to spend anything or are we so flat broke our transfer costs this Jan will be a big fat nothing

with him being touted as a future premiership player Swindon would be mad to let him go at this stage in his career. We're lucky that centre half is not a position they've problems with.

morrison is exactly right for us, but you see even at 18 he has something special and you can't blame swindon for wanting to keep him.

if their was any chance we could keep him or even swap him for revell i would say yes please

Swindon Town's money worries??? what money worries, we don't have any. Our owners are some of the richest in the league, not to say they will put all that money into our club however they have run the club very well and spent wisely. Agree Sean Morrison is a great defender. Revell doesn't look to be in our plans now.... think he is heading back to Southend despite what your chairman!

We are getting M'Voto back don't forget!

after everything we have seen can you imagine what it would like to have a choice of three center backs!

One of hem injured, play the other two
Herd out, move Barrett
Francis out- Osei in.

We woont know what to moan about , well maybe not

Indeed! We have had so many different defenders already this season its unreal.

Morrison alongside M'Voto would solve so many problems for us. Unfortunately anyone who thinks we'll get him is dreaming. The fact they've discovered Revell is cack doesn't help us either.

anyone know how long is left on his contract. would we do a swap with revs?

I'd love that.

This season, with M'Voto, Heath and Morrison all playing at centre half alongside Barrett has shown what a waste of money Clarke was. The £300K we spent on Clarke should have been spent on players that are similiar to the likes of Heath, Morrison and M'Voto.

Barrett looks a lot better with a big, strong, dominate partner alongside him, rather than a clone of his that wasn't much better than him.

Morrison has looked fantastic and I'd love to be able to sign him, but seeing as Wilson has ruled it out, I can't see it happening but in football you never say never.

In my opinion last season with Dervite alongside Clarke showed what a stupid decision it was to keep Barrett in the side for so long alongside Clarke and give him a 50 year contract.

To be fair, would have worked either way. Adam had the versatility to be able to play a full back position which Clarkey couldn't, he's looked so much better alongside young Sean Morrison.

Possibly. Like OBL mentioned though, Barrett is able to fill in at left back, and being the skipper meant it was always likely to be Clarke that left if it was either of them.

But buying Clarke was a mistake, an expensive one at that, because he was far too similiar to Barrett. This season, with M'Voto, Heath and Morrison has showed this.
