Dan Harding

He looks like a right cocky odious little twunt but the Norwich 27 (MacDonald) they signed from non-league plays a bit like the Eastwood of old.

Hopefully he wasn't somebody else we had on trial and let go, apparently he was at Witham with Danny Greaves...

Playing tonight for Reading against Norwich.

And looks pretty comfortable at that level. Has only been done once, I think, has taken a free kick near the box and put in a good cross or two. I suspect that this is the end of any remote chance we had of signing him.

Don't think he has the footballing brain of Freddy, though Rich. He is a bit of a two-trick pony. Bit of pace and can spin off his marker, but doesn't seem very aware of what his team mates are doing, and has let the ball get too far away from him a couple of times.

My dad was at the game and didn't even notice it was him! Not sure whether that means he looked comfortable at Championship level or something else but he said he played quite well.

yeah can see him signing for reading for whom he has played twice in four months, esp if they go up, i think not.

If he looks comfortable at that level do you really think Reading are the only Championship side interested? I doubt he will go to Reading but others will be watching and with a new manager at Ipswich they might want him back and he might give them a chance.

I think Keano might be up for a clearout of the deadwood (e.g. all the 11 or 12 Ipswich players with expried contracts) and get his own team in!

Taken off to a standing ovation on the hour mark. He's had tongsillitus too apparently

According to the beeb today, Roy Keane will holding contract talks with Harding shortly. He wasn't one of the 7 players released today by Ipswich.

And he plays again today for Reading in their play off semi final first leg away to Burnley and he has been doing well
