Even today in the reserves he ambled around like an old man. Must be embarrassed to collect his vast salary < compared to Connie and Dudders> for what he has contributed. Also why is Tilly trialling centre halves like the one today that is clearly not fit to lick Andy Edwards boots, no wonder Eagle was p%&sed off!

Although wiggy was trying to be a provocative p%&*k, she might not actually be wrong.

Saying that the Goat was one of Tilly's worst signings is not the same as saying the Goat was a bad signing.

In fact I'd say all of Tilly's signing's have been good signings! So theoretically, the Goat could be a great signing - and yet be one of Tilly's worst signings...

You don't 'arf talk some cr@p wiggy - the Goat has been an asset for us ON the pitch and we all know what he brings to the rest of the squad OFF it, many of them and Tilly/Brush have already stated that more than once since he signed.

Aside from all all the abuse/banter that this post has attracted, when you take a long hard look at it, It's difficult to argue against. All this talk about what he brings to the team outside of the actual games....well what is it? A few lines in the 'bermuda times' or whatever carribean paper it may be. So what? A smiling face and jug ears....I could fill that roll for nothing! Fact is, as i see it, on the other forum, there was codgels of Reading fans lining up to tell us what happened there and there was equal amounts of shrimpers shouting them down and telling them that it was sour grapes but proof of the pudding is in the eating and no matter how nice a bloke he is.......at the moment, the're prophecy is pretty much on the money.
 
If it was anyone else other than The Goat you would all agree that the Reading fans had it spot on, and he was younger then. Not a great fan of Wayne Gray, actually think he is of a league 2 standard but give me his workrate and pace anyday over that overpaid luxury that needs feeding, but hey lets just say he is great to have about the place so that's o.k!

Always been there wiggy, never could understand the abuse that was/is heaped on you. I guess its cos you normally put a pretty negative slant on things. But if you read between the lines, you aint too far off the mark most times.
